There are going to be lots of comings and goings at our place over the next month.

Our two little boys will be soon joining their new owners - Arcadia Buck's Fizz to to meet his new lady friends and commence stud duties and Arcadia Buck's Nightshade (soon to be gelded) to join a lovely family as their first ever mini. We couldn't be happier with the people who have bought these horses - we know they are going to be appreciated and well cared for.

We eagerly await the arrival of two new members to our mini family. Scott Creek Cameo and her tiny filly foal, Bluegables Toy Tiara, will be joining us soon. Cameo is a lovely little AMHA mare imported from the USA and is a consistent producer of quality foals. Baby Tiara is also AMHA being sired by Bluegables Monarch's Toy Matador. She carries her sire's stunning silver dapple colour - one we don't yet have in our herd. We are looking forward to taking her out to shows in the New Year.

The foaling alarm is dusted off and ready. We expect that in our October update we will have details of a new foal. Kinetic Kissed By a Rose is due to deliver our first Overture baby in mid-October. Rosie is well and happy and rounding up very nicely. Sadly Acacia Snifter lost her foal, so this next one is all the more precious.

The clippers have also been pulled out of the cupboard. It's show time again and we will be looking forward to seeing what really is beneath all those winter woolies. In addition it will be a pleasure catching up with everyone we haven't seen so much of over the winter break.
